Welcome to Rocklin Youth Lacrosse Club. We are a volunteer based youth lacrosse club that serves the communities of Rocklin and Lincoln, CA.
Rocklin Lacrosse is offering a Fall Friday lacrosse program open to boys and girls in 1st-8th grades. This program is a great opportunity to develop skills and play a fast-paced, fun version of the game.
Sessions are Friday evenings at Johnson Springview Park. The format is 15 minutes of warm-up/stick skills time and then 45 minutes of game play.
There will be multiple small fields with games going on during the same hour.
For experienced players, we will run 6v6 (Olympic 6s) games with pads. For beginners or players without pads, we will play speed lacrosse (a non-contact game). Speed lacrosse is played with tennis balls and there are no hard outside shots allowed. Protective equipment is not required to play speed lacrosse. For male players who choose to play speed lacrosse, we recommend helmet and gloves; however, they are not required. The players will need a lacrosse stick (we have loaner sticks available).
Date: Fridays (9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30) for boys and girls
Times: One-hour sessions between 4-7pm*
*Timeframe for each session TBD. Registration numbers will dictate times assigned.
Location: Johnson Springview Park, Rocklin, CA
Cost: $40 (requires US Lacrosse Membership)
